interview with a classmate.
I interviewed a guy by the name of Matthew King. He was born and raised here in sunny California. He has had a pretty normal life with nothing really out of the ordinary. As for now he is looking for work, and comes to school about two hours a day. One of the things he likes about Oxnard College is that it is pretty close to his house, and he doesn't have to waste much gas. The main thing that motivates him to go to college is the fact that not many people in his family have gone to college, and he wants to be one of the first to do so. His "motto" for school would be to "just get threw it". In ten years he wants to have a place of his own, a good job, and he also wants all his goals to be accomplished. His culture has always put college as the first step to getting your life organized, and together. I guess you could say that he is taking that first step.

First step always putting college at first is always the way to go
ReplyDeleteI like Matthew's motto. If we just push through the tough times..and school can be tough for some of us...you will get through it and be better off.
ReplyDeleteAgree with everyone's comment, just get it done, sooner is always better then later.
ReplyDeleteI hope Matthew gets a job soon i know its not so easy.
ReplyDeleteI also have many of the same goals that Matthew has. Attending college is a life changing experience and only good can come out of it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mattew on the bases that my family is low on College Degrees and i wont to be the 1st out of my mom kids to give he one.
ReplyDeleteThats cool that he lives near the college it makes it easier to get to school and you dnt have to worry about gas...Good luck Matthew with school!
