My name is Frank Holdcroft. I was born in Griffin GA. back in 1985. As a kid I was kinda a troublemaker, getting in trouble and dropping out of high school. Then I got a little older and smarter and decided to join the military. I was a Navy Seabee for five years, doing two tours to Afghanistan and one tour to Africa. I hated Afghanistan, I mean living in tents, dust storms, and incoming rockets is no fun. Africa was pretty cool though, because we got to help people who really needed it. We rebuilt schools and stuff like that, it was rewarding and made u feel good about yourself. Plus the money was pretty good there too. After my five years was up I decided that the military really was'nt for me and got out with an honorable discharge.
Now Im out of the military and using my GI. bill to go to school. Its pretty cool because now im actually getting my school paid for, and getting paid to go. As of right now my major is a business transfer to Cal State Channel Islands. I want to get a business management degree there, and then see what happens after that. I'm still not exactly sure what I want to do, but business is a pretty broad field so I'm sure that I will figure something out. I'm living in Camarillo now, with my girlfriend. Life's good just going to school, and its like my new job now.
As for my future, I wanna finish school, and see were life takes me from there. I'm just taking it one step at a time, and my first step is school. When I'm done with school I want to find a good job, and live a nice life. My brother is in the U.S. Air Force, and gonna retire in a few more years. He says he wants to open a sports bar or something like that when he's done. So who knows maybe I can go help him with that when I'm finished. Maybe I'll just open my own thing. I mean i don't know exactly what I'm gonna do, but at least I have some options already.
